She is an American actor and singer whose talents have earned her recognition in a variety of genres - from thrillers and adventures to period films. The film received critical acclaim for her role as a teenager who has been injured in a horrific accident in The Horse Whisperer (1998) and she gained further attention in the role of a sarcastic teen outcast Rebecca in Ghost World (2001). Similar to many young actresses she began her professional career in the theatre. She also worked in other initiatives across the USA, while Wildflower was her first stage production. She graduated from her Stonestreet Studios Conservatory of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
